The segmented range, which is unique to Truflo, was developed to satisfy performance requirements for fans that need to operate at higher pressures and offer greater durability than spider fans. Segmented fans have discrete blade assemblies attached to a center hub. They range in diameter from 1524 mm (60”) to 3000 mm (118”) and can be optimized with the exact number of blades with the blade material, width, camber, angle and specialized blade form if required. These fans are widely used in the power generation and off-highway industries.
The standard segmented fan is a steel construction; lightweight steel versions are available along with a super-lightweight version which incorporates an aluminum hub and blades.
