Exhaust Silencing and Emission

If you are an engine packager with the need for a low profile silencer and internal insulation, the Disk style silencers from Phillips & Temro are designed specifically to meet your needs.  In addition to the standard single inlet, we can accommodate dual inlets for a variety of engine applications in order to eliminate the need for a WYE connection. 

For extremely compact situations or mobile power generation applications, the Cowl brand of spiral silencer provides high levels of attenuation with significantly reduced space requirements. 

When the environmental conditions require engine exhaust spark arresting in addition to silencing, Phillips & Temro has an extensive line of Spark Arresting Silencers.  Combining spark arresting and silencing in one exhaust component is an economical approach that saves material, space, and labor in installation.

For retrofit applications, Phillips and Temro will custom design catalytic converters or combination silencers to meet the new RICE NESHAP requirements and ensure compliance.

Heating Technology

Phillips & Temro engine block heaters, air intake heaters, diesel fuel warmers and tank style circulation tank heaters are reliable heating products that ensure fast and reliable engine starts.  Our products support all types of industrial engine and stationary power applications and are approved to North American and European electrical standards.  These products are a necessity to ensure engine starts and the availability of power when called upon during emergency situations.
